About
Most clock sites look like databases. They have collected twenty years of calculators, converters and tables around a small piece of information that almost everybody arrives for: the current time somewhere else.
Time in Kenya starts with one screen that does one thing: the current time in Nairobi, the date there, sunrise and sunset for the day, and how far ahead or behind Kenya is from wherever you are reading from. The background follows Kenya's own hour, so the page quietly looks like dawn, day, dusk or night in Nairobi rather than where you are.
Around that clock is a small set of reference pages we keep up to date by hand: how Kenya's single time zone works and how it compares to other countries, what the weather actually does across the seasons and the main cities, the public holiday calendar, and practical information for visiting. Where facts change — entry rules, Eid dates, prices — we say so rather than pretending to certainty. Nothing is stored, nothing is tracked by us, and there is no account to make. The clock runs entirely in your browser using your device's own time, converted to the Africa/Nairobi time zone.
